Meeting with former staff6 viewsWe love to go back to Korea and catch up with staff who have worked with us in Canada and abroad. It is a great encouragement for them and us as we reminisce and talk about what is God is doing!

Food!7 viewsKorean's love food and every meeting or discussion is over some savoury treats!!

War museum3 viewsWe did a lot of praying during this time. One of the places we prayed at was a museum showing the atrocities that occured to the Korean people during the Japanese occupation. It was a little bit disturbing and quite graphic.

Meeting old friends from Canada3 viewsWe have so many friends that live in Korea and are teaching English there. It is really fun to visit with them and bring a bit of Canada to them!

Fortune Tellers5 viewsWe noticed a lot of these small booths. In Korea even Christians will go to fortune tellers for the names of their babies, or important dates. There is much confusion over what is truth and what is tradition.

Former student4 viewsIt is so good to encourage former students. God does such amazing things during a person in their DTS and to meet with them again and remind them of those things is really fun.

Friends3 viewsKoreans have an incredibly social culture! Everyone wants to hang out and practice their English!

The Temple3 viewsAnother place that we prayed was at large Buddhist temple. Many people are very superstitious in Korea and they come to the temple to request favour in all areas of life.
